Feb 2022 updates


I've changed a lot of things since 0.7, but I decided not to spoil the game anymore and not share it (the whole game) for a while tho, so if you're interested you'll have to watch the trailers and hold on a bit longer.

So, changes:

  • New shaders and textures (yes, again). Check out that snow, how it moves away from you! that's just one.
  • Some dialogs now have options to choose, many are just for extra information or to add personality to the characters, but some here and there might have consequences or rewards!
  • Currently working on new events to fill every level with content and secrets, and some props and images to go with them.
  • Also working on cutscenes, so certain important events feel more cinematic
  • Dialogboxes now have my own handrwiting for typography. Hopefully you can still read it... Also, dialog now appears as typewriter and the timing is more carefully done, with dots and commas making pauses.
  • New music! made by me using artificial intelligence and Ableton. (hope you don't hate it.. i did my best)
  • Made many QOL improvements to stuff like strobing lights, and rotating objects and such that you won't notice or care.
  • New animations! tried to make most characters feel a bit more alive than they used to be. It's not easy when the rigs and 3D models are sorta crappy to begin with, but i don't wanna redo the whole game either lol
  • New intro screen! (i think i made that after 0.7.. right?)
